2013-14 Season
One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest
(Grades 9-12)
Ken Kesey’s classic novel (and later Academy Award-winning film) comes to the stage. Faking insanity to get out of a serious legal situation, Randle Patrick McMurphy turns a mental institution upside down. McMurphy clashes with Nurse Ratched, who subjects him to ever more horrifying treatments to get him to submit to her authority. A funny, moving, deeply human insight into the strength of the human spirit and man’s ability to recover.
